Rahul Kar

Rahul Kar is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at AutoGrid, a company specializing in virtual power plants and energy management solutions. In his role, he is responsible for revenue growth, product development, and the design and delivery of solutions within the New Energy business unit. Kar has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, focusing on innovative energy solutions for industries, utilities, and government entities.

Before becoming COO in December 2022, Kar served as Senior Vice President and General Manager at AutoGrid for eight years. His career includes significant roles such as designing turbomachinery aimed at reducing energy consumption and managing technology strategy projects for the U.S. Department of Energy. He has also developed machine learning and optimization products for various energy companies.
