Rahim Rajan is a key member of the Postsecondary Success strategy leadership team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Leading a team of Program Officers, he focuses on innovating and scaling high impact solutions in higher education to bridge equity gaps and drive college transformation.

Before his role at the Gates Foundation, Rahim was instrumental in launching and expanding not-for-profit technology organizations in New York City, funded by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. These organizations, such as JSTOR and ITHAKA, revolutionized scholarly research distribution worldwide.

Rahim Rajan's career highlights include driving the adoption of resources in developing regions like India and Latin America, as well as spearheading a partnership to digitize rare medieval manuscripts in Timbuktu, Mali. Additionally, he played a crucial role in reclaiming family assets in post-genocide Rwanda.

His educational journey spans renowned institutions such as Boston University, University of Chicago, the Institute of Ismaili Studies in London, and University of Cambridge, where he pursued various degrees and certificates.
