Rafiq Ahmed

Rafiq Ahmed is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Serif Health, a startup focused on healthcare price transparency. Before establishing Serif Health in 2020, he worked as a consultant at Bain & Company from 2017 to 2019, where he specialized in healthcare IT investments, clinical software, and health plans.12

His career also includes serving as the General Manager for HotelTonight from 2012 to 2015, where he concentrated on pricing strategy and analytics, particularly after the company was acquired by Airbnb.12 Rafiq's educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar with high distinction.12

At Serif Health, Rafiq is dedicated to simplifying healthcare pricing and contracting, leveraging new price transparency regulations to create data products and APIs aimed at making healthcare costs more understandable and accessible.34
