Rafik Majiti, RBG

Rafik Majiti is an accomplished digital leader who has made his significant mark in the banking industry. With over a decade of experience, Majiti has a wealth of knowledge that spans across digital, agile, DevOps, CX, marketing, SME banking, retail banking, wholesale banking, payments, transaction banking, omnichannel, innovation, Fintech, and sales. He studied at reputable institutions such as Sint Janslyceum, Tilburg University, and Henley Business School, where he obtained VWO, Atheneum, International Economics and Finance, and Strategic Marketing Leadership degrees, respectively.

Majiti has held several high-profile positions throughout his career. He is the Head of Digital at Mashreq Bank, previously served on the UAE Banks Federation's Digital Committee, and was the Global Tribe Lead Digital Channels at ING Wholesale Banking, where he had also been the Chief Client Officer and founder of Cobase. At ING, he led notable projects like Project lead innovation Wholesale Banking and Global Principal Product Manager Channels. He also worked in different managerial positions, including SME Marketing Manager, Product Marketing Business Payments Manager, Sr. Marketing Manager, and Sr. Relationship Manager.

Before ING, Majiti commenced his career as a Customer contact agent at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and later became a Management Trainee at ING Nederland. He also worked as a Student-assistant at Tilburg University.
