Rafe Needleman is a seasoned technology journalist and communications expert with a career spanning over three decades.

With a background in psychology from Reed College, Rafe has covered new technology products and companies since 1988, taking on roles such as a product reviewer, editor, news writer, podcaster, and communications coach.

His experience includes interviewing over a thousand startup CEOs, analyzing businesses and products, and exploring the impact of entrepreneurial thinking and technology advancements on society.

Rafe has worked in various roles such as Editorial Strategist at Cisco, Editor in Chief at BestReviews, and Director of Developer Relations at Evernote, among others.

Currently, he leads technology content at Allison+Partners, collaborating with internal teams and clients to enhance storytelling processes and narratives.

Rafe's skill set includes editorial tasks like writing, editing, and content creation, product analysis, communication with startup founders, explaining complex technologies, and leading teams of writers and editors.

He has a keen interest in how new tools for makers are reshaping interactions with the world and has been actively involved in programs supporting startups and the maker community.
