Rafal Piersiak is a seasoned professional adept at designing, managing, and overseeing the production of various products across diverse industries, from jet aircraft technology to cutting-edge telescope instrumentation.

With a background that includes working on projects for NASA satellites, astronaut medical sensors, neural-stimulation devices, non-invasive medical tools, and the pioneering LTE connected car cam, Rafal has amassed a wealth of experience in product development and innovation.

Rafal's educational journey includes a Master of Science degree and a Bachelor of Engineering degree, both obtained from Stony Brook University, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence and continuous learning.

Throughout his career, Rafal has held key roles in several prominent organizations, such as Owlcam where he served as the Founding Team Director of Product Development, Engineering Tech Lead, and Hardware Program Lead.

Prior to Owlcam, Rafal honed his skills as an Electrical Engineer at Zyomed, a Design & Test Engineer at Thync, a Bluetooth Embedded Sensor Engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center, and an RF Engineer at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center among other distinguished positions.

Rafal's professional journey also includes roles as an Electrical Engineer at Parker Hannifin Fluid Systems Division (FSD), an Instrumentation Engineer at Australian Astronomical Observatory (AAO), and an Obsolescence Engineering Intern at Parker Hannifin Electronic Systems Division (ESD), showcasing his versatility and adaptability in a wide array of technical domains.
