I played a role in Teltec Solutions known as IT Project Manager, in which I was responsible by building the project plan for all projects of the company, following PMBOK global standards, to make sure they all were successfully opened, executed, monitored and closed. Also, a great part of my job was to make sure that a team of 12 IT specialists with outstanding knowledge in Cisco,  NetApp, Citrix, VMware, Palo Alto, Meraki and Watchguard solutions were motivated and aligned with the project goals. 
The company projects type vary from a simple wireless solutions setup, with two access points, to a really complex migration of a Citrix Netscaler cluster on the biggest Brazilian bank. Once I took care of all the projects, I was more than happy to use the knowledge I got during my PMP certification, to avoid scope-creep, manage schedules, resource allocation, costs, delivering all those projects on time and budget.

My main responsibility at Chaordic was to provide the best IT solutions for each team's need. Once the company works as 5 different teams, collaborating each other to build a common product, each team had their different needs, like improve the wireless connection which involves the research and replacement of the old infrastructure, manage all AWS cloud costs which includes reduction plans, instances reservation plan, manage DNS and webservers. 
I was also responsible by the decisions taken by IT department, always aligning them with the company objectives. A good example of that was the IT security committee, which I was responsible of, with the goal of make all code and information the company had even more secure.

I was responsible by implement all the Cisco Wireless projects that were built by our company. Some of them with 200 or more access points, controlled by a core of two clustered Cisco Wireless Controllers, to attend around 4000 simultaneous final users. The customers were from different parts of Brazil and of different business like Hospitals, Universities and Government buildings.
Another main task I was responsible by was make all the wireless site survey, using CAD draws to simulate the real scenario and be possible calculate the number of access points needed, best positioning, power and channeling configuration.

Cisco Wireless Field Engineer

As a gaming incubator that worked as separated teams joining forces and building different parts of the flash/html5/mobile gambling games, I was the responsible for providing them all the IT infrastructure, making possible the communication and collaboration between the teams, once this was the key to our outstanding final products.
At that time, a big part of my job was to build the new data center for the new headquarter, starting with the LAN design, following to servers virtualization, Microsoft Active Directory domain services deployment, Microsoft file servers deployment, two stages backup solutions using storage and cloud services, and also firewall setup and administration to provide perimeter security and accessibility for those who needed.
Also a big task done by me was to automate the data center start-up and shutdown processes. As we had several power outages in a short period, that was necessary to avoid data corruption to bring all the system back to live as soon as possible.

My main goals at BeaS were to keep the solutions of our clients running without interruption and in ideal conditions, 24x7, taking care of the maintenance and monitoring of those servers, services. That was possible by implementing different open source monitoring solutions, as Nagios, Cacti, OMD and Check_Mk. The infrastructure of this customer had around 200 servers which provided services to all their branches around the world.
At the same time, a project that was my responsibility was the setup of a Microsoft print cluster for one of our German customers, migrating their printers from a Novell system. As I was who planned and executed the project, and also our customer business was very dependent on the printers, I had to be very precise on the execution.
Another great project that I was responsible by was the setup of a private cloud environment to another German customer, what was based on VmWare VSphere and ESXi 4.5, with AWS S3 as storage for backups.

IT Infrasctructure Administrator

In this position I was responsible by manage all the IT infrastructure, do the day-by-day maintenance, install, upgrade and manage new and existing hardware and software related with the Data Center, rebuild the cabling inside and outside the Datacenter, replace old servers with new Blade solutions, virtualize with Microsoft Hyper-V servers and also make sure every system was running fine 24x7.
I had also a great part on the Microsoft Active Directory setup, when I could use my knowledge on that product to implement it, migrating around 200 users from a non-domain scenario to the new domain, and being responsible for the operations of this service after that. 
Another key project that was my responsibility at that time was the deployment of the McAfee ePO and VirusScan in all computers. Here I had to research and define the right solution, build the project plan to install in all machines at once, manage exceptions like the servers, which were critical and could not stop running at any time, manage the risks and incidents during the project and closing with success in the end.
