Rafael Gonzaga is an experienced software engineer, with a strong focus on system performance and architectural migrations. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UNIBTA - Centro Universitário, he has worked extensively on transitioning systems from monolithic to microservice architectures while ensuring high levels of resilience and availability.

Rafael is an active open-source contributor, and he is currently a core member of the Fastify project and a member of the Node.js Diagnostics Working Group and ClinicJS core team. Throughout his career, Rafael has worked with a variety of organizations, including NearForm, Habit Global, Inc., and Quero Educação.

With his expertise in system performance and architectural migrations, Rafael has also served as a tech lead and lead software engineer at various organizations. He is skilled in areas such as data science, web development, and software application engineering.
