Rafael Durón is a Strategic Design and Innovation professional with expertise in leading processes in the fuzzy front end of innovation and shaping design strategy.
He is currently serving as an Innovation Strategist at VanBerlo, a part of Accenture.
Rafael's educational background includes a Master of Science (MS) in Strategic Product Design from Delft University of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and participation in design programs at Yonsei University and Copenhagen University College of Engineering.
Throughout his career, Rafael has held various roles such as Strategist in Innovation & Service Design at VanBerlo, Co-Organizer and Facilitator at Strategic Design Sandbox, UX Consultant at SeMI Technologies, Strategic Designer at Remember to Play, Service Designer at MOBGEN, User Experience Designer at Sense Health BV, and Strategic Design Intern at Philips Design.
He has also contributed as a Board Member – Secretary at Studio 360 – a Strategic Product Design Community at TU Delft and as a Project Manager in the Education and Cities division at INDEX: Design to Improve Life.
