Rafael Beyar is a prominent Israeli medical doctor, entrepreneur, and professor specializing in interventional cardiology. He serves as the Director of the Innovation in Cardiovascular Interventions (ICI) meetings, a prestigious annual event that he co-founded in 1996. Beyar was born on January 20, 1952, in Petah Tikva, Israel. He graduated from the School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in 1977 and later earned a Doctorate in Science from the Technion in 1983, along with a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University in 2008. His contributions to the field of cardiology include editing several influential books and leading advancements in clinical invasive cardiology.
