Raed Khawaja

Raed Khawaja is the CEO and co-founder of Open, a mindfulness technology platform that provides in-person and digital experiences.2341 Open combines breathwork, movement, meditation, and sound to awaken the body and mind, guiding users into the present moment.14 Khawaja's platform aims to make mindfulness accessible to everyone, creating a global community of mindful individuals and changing the narrative around mental health and wellness.1 He is also a board member at WholeSchool Mindfulness.5

Prior to founding Open in June 2018, Khawaja was the director at Jyve, a data analytics startup, and worked in eCommerce at PepsiCo.25 He began his career as an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.25 Khawaja received a bachelor's degree in economics from DePaul University and studied microeconomics and econometrics at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).25
