Rachel Zarrow
Writer and Communications Lead
Rachel Zarrow is a storyteller, writer, editor, and creative director with over a decade of experience in various roles. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Creative Writing from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology from Stanford University. Rachel has a diverse educational background, including studying at Stanford in Florence.
Throughout her career, Rachel has been associated with numerous organizations. She has served as a Communications Specialist at For The People, a Freelance Editor + Writing Coach at Second Draft Studio, and a Writing and Publishing Mentor at Empowerment Avenue. Rachel has also worked as a Freelance Writer, Beekeeper at The Best Bees Company, Marketing Consultant at Wave, Creative Writing Instructor at The Loft Literary Center, and Creative Director at Top Shelf Beverages, Inc./ Clearly Kombucha. She has held roles such as an Intern at San Francisco Chronicle and Editorial Intern at Food52. Rachel also founded Purple Soup LLC and has volunteered as a Writing and Publishing Mentor at Empowerment Avenue.
