Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith is the Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of ExchangeWire, a prominent publication focused on data-driven advertising and marketing technology. She has held this position since April 2022, after serving as the Chief Operating Officer from August 2011 to April 2022. Under her leadership, ExchangeWire has established itself as a leading source of news and analysis in the media, marketing, and commerce sectors, particularly in Europe and the Asia-Pacific regions.12

Education and Early Career:
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Politics from the Australian National University. Her career spans various roles across notable organizations, including positions as a Consultant at Balfour Consulting London Ltd and Head of the Chief Executive's Office at the London Borough of Sutton. She also worked as a Trustee at The Bromley By Bow Centre since April 2019.1

Current Roles:
In addition to her role at ExchangeWire, Rachel is also the CEO of WireCorp, which is the holding company for ExchangeWire and other publications like DTC Daily and The Gaming Economy. She continues to be actively involved in strategic communications, operations, and consultancy for digital media companies.12
