Rachel Simmons

Rachel Simmons is an accomplished executive who has led successful initiatives in the education, corporate, major events, retail and NFP sectors. With a strong background in strategic partnerships, business development, innovation, and digital transformation, she has taken responsibility for multi-million-dollar portfolios, projects and initiatives. Rachel is the Chief Operating Officer for UP Education, a global private education business, where she leads the execution of a major growth strategy into the Australian market.

Having founded two technology-centered businesses, Rachel has demonstrated success in utilizing technology and digital solutions to improve and enhance consumer and client experiences. Her experience also includes leading complex internal and external relationships, including relations with government and regulatory bodies. She is a graduate of Victoria University and holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, Bachelor's degree in Business, Master of Education (M.Ed.), and a Graduate Certificate in Leadership in Education and Training and Tertiary Education.

Her previous executive roles include Executive Director, Learning Innovation at Monash College, Head of Learning Strategy and Senior Strategic Coach at Resilient Futures, Director Business Growth and Learning Development, Director VU Industry Connect, General Manager Industry Planning and Products, Education Manager - International, and Lecturer at Victoria University.
