Rachel Martin

Rachel Martin is an accomplished administrator and educator with several years of experience in the arts and cultural sector. She studied Ancient Studies and Anthropology at Mount Holyoke College before pursuing Museology/Museum Studies at New York University and a Graduate Certificate in Arts Administration at Northeastern University. With strong written and oral communication skills, Rachel has honed her ability to connect with people and organizations to achieve her goals.

As Volunteer Coordinator at VisArts, Rachel successfully grew the volunteer program by reaching out to local schools and implementing an online scheduling system. In addition, she has worked as a Grants Manager at ClancyWorks Dance Company, Administrative Assistant at ClancyWorks Dance Company, and Tutor at WyzAnt Tutoring. Rachel has a wide range of experience that includes working as a Project Assistant at Marstudio, Inc., an Instructor at C & T Youth Technology Academy Inc, a Frontliner at Greenpeace, and an Intern at the New York Public Library registrar's office, Navy Art Gallery, and Montgomery County Historical Society.
