Rachel Knaster is a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in software and systems development, with diverse roles spanning from developer to executive levels.
She has a strong background in leading large-scale Agile transformations for more than 15 years and actively contributes to advancing SAFe's Lean-Agile methods as a SAFe Fellow and methodologist.
Rachel is a principal consultant dedicated to assisting organizations in creating conducive environments for delivering value, enhancing quality and flow, and fostering engagement and enjoyment.
She is a respected author, having co-authored the SAFe Distilled and the SAFe Reference Guide book series, as well as authored the SAFe 4.6 Introduction to SAFe whitepaper.
Rachel Knaster pursued her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Harvard University and also studied at The American School in London.
Previously, she held advisory roles at ASAPP and served as the Chief Product Officer at ASAPP. Rachel also contributed her expertise in roles such as Client Value & Transformation at IBM Watson, Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities at Goldman Sachs, and Computer Science 50 Course Advisor at Harvard University.
