Rachel Friend, PE CSM

Rachel Friend is a dedicated professional with a background in Stormwater and stream/wetland restoration.

She holds a Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia and is a Certified Stormwater Manager (CSM) with the American Public Works Association (APWA).

Rachel has a strong educational foundation, having studied river courses I, II, and III at North Carolina State University, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering with a minor in Civil Engineering at Old Dominion University.

Her career has been marked by significant roles in various reputable organizations. She currently serves as a Project Manager at RK&K and has previously held the same title at Woolpert.

Prior to these positions, Rachel has contributed her expertise as a Stormwater engineer and watershed manager at the City of Chesapeake, as well as an Engineer at Whitman Redquardt & Associates, Timmons Group, and MSA.

Her wealth of experience and dedication to environmental engineering make her a valuable asset in the field of Stormwater management and stream/wetland restoration.
