Additionally, Rachel has made meaningful contributions during her time as a Civic Digital Fellow at the U.S. Census Bureau, focusing on content strategy. Here she played a crucial role in enhancing the public’s understanding of the importance of census data and their role in democracy. This experience further solidified her commitment to civic engagement, leveraging her background in technology to create more inclusive platforms for highlighting important issues.
Rachel’s journey in technology began at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University, where she took on the role of Communications Intern. Her position allowed her to engage with complex issues surrounding digital media and society, providing her with a strong foundation in content creation and digital communications that she would later utilize in her various roles.
