With an impressive track record of recognized achievements, she is known for her intense focus on operational excellence, as well as her advocacy for women in the workplace, entrepreneurship, and US-China relations.
May's robust educational background includes a Doctor of Law degree from New York University School of Law, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and studies in Chinese Language and Literature and History at Peking University. Furthermore, May has studied innovation at the THNK School of Creative Leadership.
Throughout her career, May held several key positions with various reputable companies and organizations. Her roles range from Dean, School of Entrepreneurship and Management at ShanghaiTech University to Senior Advisor at Schwarzman Scholars. Additionally, May served as COO and CEO at Fly Communications, Co-Founder and CEO at MarketBoy, Inc., and Vice-President at Goldman Sachs.
May is an active member of the Guild of Future Architects and a former adjunct professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She also advises ShanghaiTech University and speaks regularly on innovation, entrepreneurship, and US-China relations.
