Nguyen Quan

Quan Nguyen is a serial project manager and agri-fintech specialist with a diverse background in project management spanning various industries. He ventured into the coffee industry in his hometown of Dalat, Vietnam, as a deputy manager at The Married Beans, a sustainability-focused coffee producer. His interaction with coffee farmers led to the inception of Coffee Warriors (CW), a platform geared towards enhancing sustainable practices and championing the specialty coffee movement in Vietnam. Quan is also a prominent Agri-Fintech advocate in the country, collaborating with Kilimo, a startup that innovatively transforms agri-finance knowledge into valuable loan products for banks.

Quan started his academic journey in Electrical & Electronics Engineering at The HCMC University of Technology before transitioning into project management, economic empowerment, and agri-fintech. He is actively involved in various leadership programs such as YSEALI, UNLEASH 2018 Innovation Lab for SDGs, and has garnered recognition including the 2018 YSEALI Seeds for the Future Grant and the 2019 PFP Alumni Impact Award from the US State Department. Additionally, he serves as the founding Curator of Dalat Hub under the Global Shapers Community, an initiative supported by the World Economic Forum.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Quan Nguyen is an enthusiastic writer and a dedicated marathon runner. In his quest for personal development, he is expanding his language proficiency by learning German and Hebrew alongside his native English.
