Quan Ding, a highly skilled machine learning expert, possesses extensive project experience with big data sets. He has a strong educational background, having studied Electrical Engineering at both the undergraduate and graduate levels at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and University of Rhode Island, respectively. Additionally, he has earned a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Quan has published an impressive 19 journal papers and 13 conference papers with a focus on machine learning, signal processing, statistical modeling and analysis. His expertise extends to tools such as Python (scikit-learn, pandas), SQL, GitHub, MATLAB/Octave, among others. Quan was a Data Science Mentor at Springboard, a Senior Data Scientist at Vungle, and a previous Data Scientist at The Home Depot Techshed. He was also an Invited Lecturer at Harbin Institute of Technology and previously held the position of Postdoctoral Scholar and Postdoctoral Research Associate at University of California, San Francisco and University of Rhode Island, respectively.
