Should-costing is a Supply Chain initiative, where a detailed method/model is developed to finding the ‘should-cost’ of a product or service. Sr. Contract managers use the fact-based analysis to gain advantages in negotiations with vendors. In order to support the operational success of the business, this role develops metrics, tools and process for large complex projects or large customers. Assignments are very complex, cross functional and require seasoned analytical skills with high level of proficiency. I frequently receive exceeds expectations on job performance review.
Examples of projects I worked on include AT&T mobile devices (all OEMs), offshore/onshore outsourced call center services, enhanced mobile support services, mobile device recycle program, janitorial services, u-verse reverse logistics, temp staffing, consulting rates, hazardous material removal, waste management services, etc.

Prior to performing procurement consulting services described above, I managed contract negotiations with suppliers. Examples of spend categories include call center services, HR benefits, Consulting, Corporate Finance services, etc.

Sr. Contract Manager/ Procurement Consulting (Cleansheet/Should Cost Analysis)

Responsible for conducting and documenting complex financial analysis related to capital investment projects, works on problems of diverse scope. Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of financial and other data.
-  Working on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Analysis of complex financial reports, trends, forecasts, and opportunities.
-  Assignments include evaluation of and recommendations relating to business opportunities, capital investments, and similar financial projects or programs.
-  Duties include Gathering, interpreting, and evaluating financial information and performance via data modeling processes.
-  Develops recommendations to achieve the organization's capital investment financial objectives.
-  Determines financial consequences of alternative methods, plans and strategies.
-  Evaluates financial performance including cost or budget administration.

Lead Financial Analyst

- Performed operational reviews for audit areas such as such as order processing, business and consumer retail adjustment process, internal financial reporting process, resale account collection process, inventory control review, Family Medical Leave Act compliance.
-  Tested key controls of tier 1 processes identified as part of the Sarbanes-Oxley review, such as order processing, financial statement consolidation, and internal financial reporting system.
-  Annual audit plan typically allocated 80 percent for operational/SOX types review and 20 percent for Officer requests.
-  Demonstrated advanced computer skills to select samples and to establish trend analysis by utilizing data query application programs, such as Queryman, Query Builder, and Microsoft Access.
-  For each project, I am responsible for completing risk assessment matrix, documenting controls/processes in place, customizing audit program, conducting closing meeting with management to discuss issues identified during the audit, and drafting final audit report.  I am usually the team leader on audit assignments due to my level of experience.
