The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) is a professional investment management organization with a critical purpose – to help provide a foundation upon which Canadians build financial security in retirement. We invest the assets of the Canada Pension Plan (CPP); that is, those assets not currently needed by the CPP to pay pension, disability and survivor benefits. 

CPPIB is headquartered in Toronto with offices in Hong Kong, London, New York, São Paulo, Luxembourg, and Mumbai. We invest in public equities, private equities, bonds, real estate, infrastructure and other areas. While a notable portion of the Fund is invested in Canada, over time, our asset allocation has become increasingly international as we participate in the global growth and the vitality of the world’s emerging markets. 
The funds Total Asset Value stood at C$ 282.6 Bn. at the end of 2015. The total investments in India exceed US$ 2 Bn.

Principal - Infrastructure Private Investments

Canada Pension Plan (CPP) is ranked as one of the 10 largest retirement funds in the world. As of June 2015' the assets under management stood at C$ 268.6 Bn.
CPP Investment Board is professional investment management organization that invests the assets of the Canada Pension Plan not currently needed to pay pension, disability and survivor benefits. CPPIB's mandate is to invest in the best interests of Canada Pension Plan contributors and beneficiaries and to maximize investment returns without undue risk of loss. CPPIB's investments are broadly divided into:
1. Private Investments
2. Public Market Investments
3. Real Estate Investments

CPPIB has made it's first infrastructure investment in India committing US $ 330mn (INR 20000 mn.) into L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Ltd. CCPIB acts as an "Engaged Investor" working closely with the company management to bring about sustained change.

L&T IDPL is a subsidiary of L&T which develops infrastructure assets in the PPP arena. L&T IDPL has under its fold 17 road assets, 1 Transmission Lines assets with investment of (US$ 2.8 Bn.) INR 181000 mn. and the (US$ 2.6 Bn.) INR 170000 mn. Hyderabad Metro project. 

As apart of the Infrastructure vertical; reporting into the London office, I'm leading the L&T IDPL investment and an observer on the IDPL Board. 

Specific Responsibilities include:
1. Financial Restructuring.
2. Governance & Internal Controls
3. Developmental Projects.
4. Anti-Bribery, Health & Safety

Working Closely with the L&T Management Team to set-up the company for future growth.

Sr. Advisor - Infrastructure | Private Investments

Successfully led the Disposal of Serco India; Serco's Frontline business in India including sale of 100% shareholding.

Serco Group PLC, UK is a $ 9Bn diversified international services company (FTSE: SRPL). Member of Serco's Global Management Team & Managing Director for Frontline Services Business in India.

Responsible for creation of 5 year strategic business plan from start-up phase covering staged sector entry, team and organizational skill development, inorganic growth strategy. Alignment of the business plan to the national government policy and budget allocations. Business plan to grow the business from scratch to INR 5000 mn. annually over 5 years including organic and inorganic growth. Sectors:

Key Achievements:
1. Acquired business worth ca. 3500 mn. in first year one of operations.

3. Set-up operations of the globally acclaimed BRTS project in Indore from concept to business as usual status.
4. Adaption of Serco's global service delivery model to a low-cost model for the Indian market while retaining the same level of values, quality and ethos.

Starting off as the first employee we built India's premiere Intelligent Transport Solutions (ITS) company. The company offers a myriad of solutions across the sector with indigenously built turnkey products.  The company became a market leader and has retained its position for the last 5+ years. The company grew to a 500 people and ca. INR 1000 mn in revenues.

	Key Achievements:
1. Took Efkon to a sustained leadership position in the Intelligent Transportation Systems field.
2. Developed & implemented a clearing house solution for loyalty card & e-payment programs of an Oil company thru a reputed bank clocking yearly transaction of $ 1 Bn.+
3. Launched India’s first Smart Card based e-payment system.
4. Launched India’s first Electronic Toll Collection system.
5. Was inducted by Bureau of Indian Standards as an expert in ITS to represent India at global ISO standard creation groups.

Efkon India Pvt. Ltd., A STRABAG Group Company

Started off as a liaison office and set-up Efkon's India operations. Launched Efkon's product lines in India including a first of its kind e-payment loyalty card solution for a fuel marketing giant.
