Prue Acton is a professional in the fashion industry. She is currently working with her partner, Merv Moriarty, who is known for revolutionizing color through the development of the Moriarty Colour Guide. This innovative system merges light and pigment into a singular code, distinguishing it from other existing systems in the industry.

Prue Acton's educational background includes studies at Firbank CEGGS in Brighton and RMIT University. She pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) and achieved a Doctor of Arts honoris causa from RMIT University with a focus on Visual Art, particularly in Textile Design. Her exceptional skills in Textile Design were recognized with the Prestige Award for Textile Design at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University.
