A graduate of Harvard Business School with an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, Proud has carved a significant reputation for himself and has a proven track record of identifying market needs and developing startups from scratch or buyouts.

Proud is a former Head of Special Projects at John Hardy, where he honed his skills in management and strategy. He was also a Tech Product Strategist at Kate Spade & Company and is well-versed in the use of technology in retail. In addition, Proud was an Associate at The Boston Consulting Group and a Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). He has studied Mandarin at Fudan University, which is a clear indication of his desire to expand his skill set and experiences.
