Duncan Scott

Professor Derek Scott is a Consultant Acute Physician and Clinical Director of Medicine, as well as the Acute Service Director at NHS Highland. He has a strong interest in acute medicine service delivery, medical HDU, rural medical services, and medical education. Professor Scott holds a Certificate of Medical Education from the University of Dundee, a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Newcastle University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Science and Genetics from the University of Leeds, as well as a High School education from hills road sixth form college cambridge. He has held roles such as Clinical Director at NHS Highland, Honorary Senior Lecturer in Medicine at the University of Aberdeen, and Consultant Physician at NHS Highland.
