Daniel Piazolo
Professor for Real Estate
Prof. Dr. Daniel Piazolo is an accomplished professional with a strong academic background in economics and international economics.
He completed his B.Sc. in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and pursued his Master's in International Economics from Yale University. Dr. Piazolo furthered his education by obtaining a Doctorate from Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel.
With a wealth of experience in academia and industry, Prof. Dr. Piazolo currently holds the position of Professor for Real Estate Management and Risk Management at THM Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen.
His previous roles include being a Visiting Scholar at Cass Business School, Lecturer for Market and Location Analysis at Hochschule Aschaffenburg, and a University Lecturer at the University of Stuttgart.
Prof. Dr. Piazolo has also held key positions in the corporate world, having been the Managing Director at MSCI / IPD Investment Property Databank GmbH and working as a Senior Economist and Project Manager at FERI Gruppe. Earlier in his career, he served as an Economist at the Kiel Institute for the World Economy.
His diverse background in academia, real estate management, risk management, and economics equips him with a comprehensive skill set that spans teaching, research, and corporate leadership.
