Prithviraj Pawar

Prithviraj (Raj) Pawar is the Director of Solar PV & Battery Storage at EVS, Inc. with a strong background in business development, client management, P&L responsibilities, strategic planning, and technical growth.

Previously serving as a Project Manager specializing in Solar + Storage, Prithviraj managed the analysis, engineering design, and construction support for leading solar projects in the nation.

His role as a Long Term Strategist involves providing input for sustainable growth initiatives and success programs within the organization.

At EVS, he oversees commercial, Community Solar Garden (CSG), and utility-scale Solar & Solar + Storage projects, demonstrating expertise in engineering, leadership, and project management.

With experience managing over 1GW of projects in the United States, spanning from preliminary design to mechanical completion, Prithviraj is well-versed in various project sizes, scopes, and solar products.

His daily tasks include handling the entire design lifecycle, equipment selection, scheduling, efficiency improvements, permitting, utility discussions, PV layout finalization, BOM generation, interconnection, production modeling, equipment placement, contract negotiations, and team management to ensure project deadlines are met.

Prithviraj holds a Master's Degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University.

His software proficiency includes AutoCAD, SAM, PVsyst, Catia v5, Solidworks-2012, ProE 4.0, and the MS Office suite.

Throughout his career, Prithviraj has contributed to over 1GW of utility-scale and commercial designs, completed multiple battery storage projects, optimized costs, worked on interconnection standards, and managed numerous residential and small-scale commercial designs.

He has held positions at various organizations, including Director of Solar PV & Battery Storage at EVS, Inc., Host & Co-Founder at The Sounds of Solar, Solar PV Engineer/Project Manager at various levels, Manager at GreenLancer, Design Engineer at SolarCity, and several roles at George Washington University and other companies during his academic and professional journey.
