Capture/proposal manager for multiple prime bids ranging from $75M to over $800M. Managed staff of six business development personnel in meeting business unit objectives. Business Development Lead responsible for identifying and capturing new technology in support of software defined radio business. Led internal marketing of software radios and associated technology into all other Northrop Grumman business units. Used behavioral modification and hypnosis to support permanent weight loss and life-style optimization. Supported psychiatrists with hypnosis sessions and behavioral modification to re-enforce treatment for stress, addictions, and other issues. Developed customized self-hypnosis protocols for clients.

Lead role in coordination of the MILCOM 2000 conference including many senior industry and DoD officials, several thousand attendees, 125 technical papers and over 100 exhibits.

TRW marketing lead for successful pursuit of lead payload role on $2.4B Advanced EHF MILSATCOM program, ultimately valued at over $4B. Responsible for domestic and international military satellite communications marketing, development of MILSATCOM line-of-business and program marketing plans, coordination of strategic teaming discussions, coordination of marketing for emerging commercial satcom. Played a lead role in helping the Air Force develop a next generation MILSATCOM architecture.

As Capture Manager for $500M plus Brilliant Eyes Flight Demonstration System, singled out as key player in program win ultimately valued at over $1.5B. Business development lead for lightsats and space sensor systems. Responsible for evaluating and leading bids for various other military system and technology opportunities.

Played a major role in $508 million award of the Advanced X-Ray Astrophysics Facility and keeping the program sold in congress. Led marketing efforts for Orbiting Solar Laboratory (OSL), Space Infrared Telescope Facility (SIRTF), Earth observing platforms, and Lunar/Mars studies. Led successful marketing efforts for initial Republic of China Satellite studies.

As Chief, Communications Systems Architecture (1984 –1985) had responsibility for military satellite system architecture studies including DSCS follow-on and the EHF package on FltSatCom. As Deputy Program Manager, Technology Development (1981-1984), managed branch with staff of five Air Force officers plus contract support and a $12 Million annual budget. Responsibilities included identifying and developing key transmitter, receiver, antenna and processor technologies for use in future DoD satellites.
