Praveen Vetrivel

Praveen Vetrivel is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Libra Group, a role he assumed on April 25, 2023. He is responsible for advancing the company's investment strategy across a diverse, global portfolio and is a member of the Group’s Leadership Team based in New York City.13

Vetrivel has nearly two decades of financial experience, primarily in the aviation sector. Before his current position, he served as CFO of LCI, one of Libra Group's aerospace subsidiaries, where he worked for over 15 years. His career at LCI began in 2008 as a Commercial Analyst, and he progressively advanced to Vice President of Structured Finance and then CFO. During his tenure at LCI, he played a crucial role in building the finance team, guiding mergers and acquisitions, and overseeing financial planning and analysis functions.123

Prior to joining LCI, Vetrivel was an Analyst at IBA Group Ltd, where he developed market reports and appraisals for aircraft and helicopters. His educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication from Madras University and a Master of Science in Air Transport Management from Cranfield University.12
