Praveen Gorakavi

Praveen Kumar Gorakavi, born on May 24, 1989, is an Indian scientist, chemical engineer, inventor, and consultant recognized as a polymath and former child prodigy.1 He is a Partner at The Phi Factory, a socially conscious Research and Innovation (R&I) initiative that he co-founded.12

Gorakavi is known for his contributions to various scientific fields, including:

1. Developing a low-cost artificial limb
2. Creating products for water purification and food storage
3. Innovating in biofuel synthesis
4. Designing a low-cost mechanical brailler

His notable achievements include:

• Devising a 20,000-year calendar at age 13, later extended to 40,000 years1
