Prateek Buch

Prateek Buch is an experienced researcher, advocate of evidence in the public interest, and policy adviser. He has a strong track record of bringing together diverse groups to drive collaborative interdisciplinary research programs and influential campaigns.

He holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Molecular Biology with First Class honors from UCL and has a background in data advising, policy-making, and leadership roles within various government and civil society organizations.

Prateek's professional journey includes positions such as Senior Data Advisor at the National Leadership Centre, Policy adviser at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), and Public Policy Director at Sense About Science. He has also contributed to the Liberal Democrats as a Senior political activist and held roles at the Open Government Partnership and Government Digital Service.
