Prashant Sachan is the Founder and CEO of AppsForBharat, a company focused on developing applications that cater to the spiritual and devotional needs of Indian users. He launched the platform in November 2020 with a vision to create a "spiritual-tech" company that reimagines how individuals engage with their faith through technology. Prashant holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Mechanical Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, completed in 2012, and a Master of Design in Interaction Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which he finished in 2014.13
Before founding AppsForBharat, he co-founded Trell, a lifestyle content and commerce platform, where he served from June 2016 until July 2020. His previous roles include working as a Senior Product Designer at Microsoft and Samsung R&D, where he contributed to projects like Cortana and ChatOn Messenger.14
Entrepreneurial Ventures
In addition to his role at AppsForBharat, Prashant is an angel investor in various Indian startups. He has been involved in several entrepreneurial initiatives, including founding a community project called Utthaan, aimed at educating underprivileged children, and operating a customized merchandise business.134
