Prasath Nanayakkara

Prasath Nanayakkara is the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of two successful startups based in Silicon Valley.

His company, 1 Billion Tech (formerly Auxenta), is a cloud-focused software engineering company delivering solutions for billions of users globally.

Under 1 Billion Tech, Nanayakkara also launched MillionSpaces, an online marketplace for unique event spaces.

With a focus on disrupting traditional business models, he has a passion for entrepreneurship and advising early-stage companies.

Nanayakkara brings over 20 years of consulting and management experience in various countries like the USA, Brazil, UK, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Sri Lanka.

His expertise lies in general management, corporate development, business operations, and strategy.

He holds an MBA from INSEAD, a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and has studied Mathematics at Royal College Colombo.

In his professional career, Nanayakkara has held key roles such as Global Head of Enterprise Automation, Head of Resource Management and Operations, and several other leadership positions at Virtusa.

He has also been associated with Cambridge Technology Partners and Kenan Systems in various capacities.
