Pranav Vernekar

Pranav Vernekar is the Co-Founder and CEO at Inventrom Pvt. Ltd., an innovative Internet of Things startup known for the Bolt IoT Platform, which was successfully launched on Kickstarter in November 2018 and exceeded funding expectations by 420% amounting to USD 48,420.

Being a prominent figure in the field, Pranav and his team at Bolt IoT have been recognized for their exceptional work. They were among the select startups chosen to accompany Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his visit to Silicon Valley and were also featured at the first Indo-U.S. Startup Konnect in September 2015.

The Bolt IoT Platform has received numerous accolades, including the IoT tech 10 award from Intel and IBM for being one of the top IoT products by a startup. Additionally, Bolt was honored during the Digital India Week for its excellence in app development and emerged victorious at the DST – Lockheed Martin India Innovation Growth Program 2015, solidifying their position as one of the best innovations in India with a global appeal.

Pranav's journey with IoT began early during his engineering studies when he created his first IoT project - an Internet-controlled robot in 2009, a time when the term 'Internet of Things' was just gaining traction. At present, he actively contributes to product development, marketing, and strategic aspects of Bolt IoT.

An individual with a strong academic background, Pranav pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) specializing in Marketing from the esteemed Goa Institute of Management. He also holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication with Distinction from Goa Engineering College, showcasing his dedication to excellence in his field.

Prior to establishing Inventrom Pvt. Ltd., Pranav gained valuable experience as an Associate Research Manager at IMRB International and as a Summer Intern at Robosoft Systems. His professional journey has been marked by collaborations with top organizations like IBM, Intel, CISCO, BOSCH, and TCS, where he served as a strategic IoT consultant, delivering expert training and keynote speeches on IoT globally.
