Pramit Choudhary

Pramit Choudhary is a Lead Machine Learning Scientist (Engineer) at H2O.ai, a position he has held since October 2018. Based in Mountain View, California, he specializes in exploring and controlling large language models (LLMs) for question and answer applications on structured data, utilizing SQL generation techniques. He is also responsible for the Model Analyzer, which provides a framework for simulating what-if scenarios and evaluating predictive models' behavior and limitations.13

Choudhary has a diverse background in applied machine learning and data science, having previously worked at Oracle and DataScience.com. Notably, he was the principal author of Skater, an open-source library aimed at enabling model interpretation. His earlier roles included developing predictive models for fraud detection at eHarmony and leading teams to create contextual predictive models in the oil industry.12

He holds degrees from the University of California, Irvine, and is actively involved in projects that leverage generative AI technologies.14
