Prakash Raja is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Rely, a 'Shop Now, Pay Later' payment solution popular among millennial shoppers in Singapore (SG) and Malaysia (MY).

Rely collaborates with major online retailers like Qoo10, offering monthly payment options and ensuring retailers receive full payments.

Rely leverages internal scoring, developed through advanced data analytics and unconventional data analysis, to approve credit and empower responsible shoppers to manage their purchases effectively.

Apart from his role at Rely, Prakash serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at Nanyang Polytechnic, where he imparts knowledge on Python programming and Big Data Analytics.

Previously, Prakash founded an online loan discovery platform catering to the underbanked population in Southeast Asia, facilitating over $20 million in loans.

His professional journey includes a stint at Atos, a prominent technology consulting firm, where he advised government entities like DSTA and Sport Singapore, as well as multinational corporations like Baxalta, on deploying enterprise systems.

Prakash is an alumnus of Nanyang Technological University, holding a double degree in Computer Science and Business. He is deeply passionate about technology, data, and actively engages with the local Django community.
