Praerit Garg is a versatile professional with a diverse background in tech leadership and entrepreneurship.

With a strong foundation in engineering and software development, Praerit spent over 12 years at Microsoft, where he rose from a Software Design Engineer to an Engineering General Manager, contributing to various Windows versions and focusing significantly on security features and infrastructure.

Following his tenure at Microsoft, Praerit co-founded Symform, a venture that involved co-founding, bootstrapping, securing VC financing, and building the company from scratch. His hands-on approach ranged from coding to talent acquisition, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of business operations.

Transitioning to Amazon Web Services, he served as the GM of AWS Identity & Directory and Access Services, where he led a large engineering organization, overseeing the development and management of critical services with global scalability, such as IAM, Tags, Directory Service, and Secrets Manager.

Praerit's journey includes strategic roles such as Chief Products Officer at Chronus Corporation, where he contributed to software solutions for talent and career development, showcasing his versatility across different sectors of the tech industry.

Currently, he holds the position of CTO & EVP of Engineering at Smartsheet, bringing his wealth of experience in leadership, product management, and technology innovation to drive success at the organization.

Praerit Garg's academic background includes a Master's degree from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
