Pradeep Kumar is an experienced professional with over 21 years of expertise in Plant Biotechnology, Conservation, Environmental Restorations, and Sustainability Project Management in India and abroad.

He specializes in technology development involving Beneficial Microbes (BM) for Solid waste management, odor elimination, organic waste management, canal and river restoration, sewage water treatment, using Jute and coir fiber Geo textiles, and sustainable plant species.

Pradeep has a strong background in handling projects related to Plant tissue culture, Nurseries, Hi-tech agriculture and Horticulture, Hydroponics, Plantations, and Environmental Sustainability projects.

He has been involved in the production of Bio Energy crops like Miscanthus (MxG), Erianthus, Arudo donax, etc., aimed at developing plantation and feedstock for biomass power plants. In addition, he is engaged in projects related to Vetiver grass, Bioenergy grass, and Hydroseeding.

Throughout his career, Pradeep has held key positions in various organizations, including Research Associate at AVT BIOTECH LTD. in Cochin, Kerala, India; Manager-Operations at KRISHNENDRA BIOTECH & NURSERIES in Bangalore, India; General Manager-Operations at E.K. PLANT TECHNOLOGIES PVT LTD. in Bangalore, India; and Chief Operating Officer at SYNERGY BIOTECHNOLOGIES LTD. in Durgapur, West Bengal, India.

He also worked as a Project Consultant for KUTCH CROP SERVICES LTD, a division of EXCEL Crop Care Ltd. in Mumbai, and TAMIL NADU NEWS PRINT & PAPER MILLS LTD. in Tamil Nadu, India. Pradeep served as a Consultant for Al Muhailan Farms in Kuwait, focusing on Hydroponics and Desert Agri-Horticulture. Additionally, he has been a Project Associate at Miscanthus International Ltd. in New Zealand and a Consultant for Technology Development at THE ENERGY & RESOURCES INSTITUTE (TERI) in New Delhi, India.

Pradeep Kumar has a strong educational background, having studied at GHS Kanakkari and pursued Botany and Plant Biotechnology at Mahatma Gandhi University.

Presently, Pradeep is the Chief Executive Officer at Biostarts Ventures. Previously, he was the Founder & CEO at SYMBIO GREENTECH Pvt.Ltd. and also served as the Chief Operating Officer at Vedic Synergy Biotechnologies Ltd. and as General Manager at E.K.Plant Technologies Ltd.
