Poppy Damon

Poppy Damon is a prominent investigative radio journalist with extensive experience and a passion for news, politics and culture. She has been actively creating podcasts since 2015, including The Full Fact 2015 election podcast, The Next Episode, Americast, Murderabilia, Blood Ties, and Stories of our Times at the Times of London. She has also worked on the highly popular Brexitcast. Her exceptional skills and inquisitive nature have earned her a place on The Radio Academy and ReelWorld's 30 under 30 list for her contribution to radio journalism.

Poppy's educational background includes a Master's degree in Investigative Reporting with distinction from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Cambridge. She attended Shenton College, Western Australia, during her earlier years of study.

Poppy has worked with several highly reputable organizations in various capacities, including her current role as the Executive podcast producer at News UK, where she manages podcasts for The Times, The Sunday Times and Wireless Media. Prior to that, she was the Deputy Executive podcast producer at News UK, Podcast Producer and Investigative Journalist at BBC, a Broadcast Journalist for Radio 4 at BBC, and a Graduate of the University of Cambridge. She began her career as an Intern Journalist at Australian Times and has also worked as a Freelance Producer at Global, a Blog Writer + Videographer + Communications Officer at Na'atik Language and Cultural Institute, and the Special Assistant to the Director and Co-host of the Full Fact podcast at Full Fact.

Poppy is a versatile journalist with considerable expertise in investigative reporting, podcast production, broadcast journalism, research, writing, communications, and cultural studies.
