Joe Fernandes is an accomplished project and program manager with extensive experience in healthcare program management and workflow optimization. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford, an Executive Project Management Degree from Florida Atlantic University, and completed the Executive Business Program at The Wharton School.

Prior to his current role as Director of the Project Management Office (PMO) at IDS AbbaDox, Fernandes served as a Senior Project Manager at e-Builder, a Senior IT Project Manager at Independent Living Systems, LLC, and as a Delivery Consultant/Solutions Architect at Netsmart Technologies. He has also held various leadership positions at Intel, Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM, and Carestream Health.

Throughout his career, Fernandes has developed expertise in change management, procurement and vendor management, server and storage technologies, high-performance computing, new product development, and business development management. He is also skilled in international marketing management, product marketing, business partner and alliance management, key account relationship development, and team training, coaching, and mentoring.

Fernandes is an active member of the South Florida Technology Alliance and previously served on the organization's Sponsorship Committee. He is a versatile professional with a passion for leading successful initiatives, building key relationships, and optimizing business operations.
