Pito Salas

Pito Salas is currently a Professor of the Practice at Brandeis University, where he imparts knowledge on IT Entrepreneurship, Software Engineering, and Software Design. He also runs his own consulting firm focused on assisting technology companies and creating innovative products. As the Co-Founder and former Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of eRoom Technology, a web-based project collaboration tool acquired by EMC, Pito brings a wealth of experience to the table.

With a strong emphasis on software product strategy, execution, product management, design, software development methodologies, and the architectures of large systems, Pito Salas possesses expertise in a wide array of areas. He is well-versed in technologies such as Ruby on Rails, Java, blogging, wikis, RSS-related technologies, and more.

Pito's educational background includes a B.A. in Computer Science from Brandeis University.
