Piotr Mierzejewski

Piotr Mierzejewski is an accomplished Executive known for his aptitude in leading high-performing teams with a focus on Open Source technologies, particularly in Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

He holds a degree in Computer Programmer Analyst from Centennial College, where his passion for information technology began.

Throughout his career, Piotr has held several key positions at IBM, including Executive Director roles in Development for various divisions like Db2 Distributed, Db2 Big SQL, and Data Virtualization.

Having a multifaceted skill set, he has also served in roles such as Program Director for Development of IBM DSX Local Data Science and Machine Learning, Senior Manager in the same domain, and Software Development Manager for DB2 Build & Infrastructure.

In addition to his corporate roles, Piotr has contributed to academia as a former Part-Time Faculty member at Centennial College's School of Engineering Technology and Applied Science.

His IBM tenure includes positions as Software Developer, SQL Compiler Developer, and Prototype Developer at the IBM Center for Advanced Studies.
