Geoffrey Pinski, Assistant Vice President for Technology Transfer at the University of Cincinnati (UC), is a seasoned professional with a wealth of knowledge in the field of intellectual property and technology commercialization. With an extensive background in law and a deep understanding of the complexities of intellectual property, Pinski has been instrumental in managing UC's technology portfolio and successfully commercializing the outputs of the university's research.

Pinski first joined UC's Intellectual Property Office in 2005 as an Extern while he was studying at the University of Cincinnati, College of Law. After graduating in May 2006, he transitioned to the role of Licensing Associate, where he managed material transfer agreements and non-disclosure agreements. His exceptional skills and dedication soon led to him taking charge of UC's physical sciences portfolio within a year.

In January 2010, Pinski was promoted to the position of Director, further solidifying his role as a key figure in UC's technology transfer efforts. Under his leadership, UC has successfully spun out over 30 companies, securing over $56 million dollars in investment. Pinski's ability to navigate the complex world of intellectual property and effectively communicate its intricacies to faculty, staff, and students has been crucial to the university's success in commercializing its research.
