Pietro Gagliano

Pietro Gagliano, an award-winning creative director and artist, has made a name for himself through his innovative and interdisciplinary approach to blending storytelling and technology. He co-founded digital agency+studio Secret Location in 2008, where he served as chief creative officer, head of innovation, and head of content, leading teams to create groundbreaking interactive storytelling experiences. His work has been recognized with numerous awards, including two Emmy Awards, two Webby Awards, and a Cannes Lion.

Gagliano's interest lies in exploring the implications of super-intelligent machines, and he is the founder of Transitional Forms, a studio-lab that uses machine intelligence to develop new forms of entertainment content. He believes that the power of art, creativity, and storytelling can create a hopeful future and is committed to using his talents to do just that.

Before founding Transitional Forms and Secret Location, Gagliano worked as an independent artist and director and was the owner and principal of True False Studio. He also worked as a freelance designer at TRAFFIKGroup and owned Robotomedia, where he served as graphic designer. Gagliano studied graphic design at Sheridan College and completed a Bachelor of Design Honours Degree at York University.
