Pierre Heistein is an accomplished economist, social entrepreneur, and gender equality advocate with a track record of success in various industries. He co-founded Caperuza, a social business that aims to chip away gender-based violence and promote gender parity. He previously worked as the Group Success Manager at CNEXT Partners and the Head Learning Facilitator for Macroeconomics at GetSmarter, among other roles. He is also a published writer and lecturer in Economics, having taught at the University of Cape Town. He has been recognized for his contributions to the field with numerous awards and appointments, including serving as an Ambassador for One Young World and being on the Board of Grassroot Diplomat.
