Pierre Chaigneau is a highly accomplished individual with a strong educational background in finance and economics. He completed his PhD in Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Diplôme de grande école (MSc in management) in Economics and Finance from HEC School of Management, and a DEA du Delta (MSc in Economics) in Economics from Ecole normale supérieure.
Currently, Pierre Chaigneau serves as an Associate Professor at the Smith School of Business at Queen's University. Previously, he held positions as an Associate Professor of Finance at the same institution and as an Assistant Professor. He has also served in various academic capacities, including as a Research Associate at the Financial Markets Group at the London School of Economics, an Associate Professor of Finance at HEC Montréal, and a Fellow in the Department of Finance at the London School of Economics.
In addition to his academic roles, Pierre Chaigneau has also accumulated valuable industry experience. He worked as a Sales-Research intern at Merrill Lynch and as an M&A Analyst intern at UBS Warburg.
