Phyllis Rauch has over 20 years of experience as an innkeeper at Los Dos Mexico. She holds a Master's degree in Library Science from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
Beyond her innkeeping work, Phyllis is an accomplished writer, having contributed to local magazines and online platforms. She has received recognition for her poetry from Writer's Digest.
In addition to her writing, Phyllis has commercial translation experience, particularly from Spanish to English. She recently re-edited her late husband's war memoir, 'Unlikely Warrior, A Jew in Hitler's Army,' which was published by Farrar, Strous and Giroux. The memoir has received international attention, with publishers in Poland and Italy picking it up.
Phyllis Rauch is multitalented and has a diverse set of interests ranging from gardening to travel. She enjoys attending concerts and theaters, and her recent travels include Victoria and Vancouver BC. She looks forward to exploring the Sea of Cortez for the whale migration and visiting the dinosaur museum in Drumheller Alberta.
