Phillip Zackler

Phillip Zackler is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in corporate law and operations.

He holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Duke University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Phillip currently serves as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, as well as the Vice President of Operations at the Toyota Research Institute.

His previous roles at Toyota Research Institute include Senior Director of Operations & Legal, Senior Director of Legal & Compliance, Director of Legal & Compliance, and Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel.

Prior to joining Toyota, Phillip held legal counsel positions at GoPro and worked as an Associate at Minami Tamaki and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

His expertise spans corporate law, compliance, operations, and legal counsel.
