Philippa Mothersill
Philippa Mothersill is a multifaceted professional with a background in design and academia. She is currently pursuing a PhD at the MIT Media Lab, where she combines design theory, cognitive psychology, and computer science to develop novel computational design tools for the early stages of creation. Mothersill has extensive experience in human-centered design, concept development, multi-disciplinary collaboration, prototyping, and Adobe Creative Suite, Solidworks, Rhino, Arduino, Processing, and Python. Furthermore, she is knowledgeable in user research techniques, qualitative and quantitative study methods, extensive literature reviews, and is an excellent communicator who has published papers, articles, given presentations, demos, panels, and teaching classes and workshops. Her skills in design, innovation, and research make her a highly desirable collaborator for the development of future strategies, products, and tools that enhance communication and creativity.
